Development from macrosurgery to nanosurgery
– Both macro and microsurgical methods are practiced today

A rapid rate of development in hair transplantation has produced smaller and more advanced tools. However many clinics still use macrosurgical methods, producing poor results. Thankfully, these results can be rectified using microsurgical instruments.

The FUE Ilter method (FUE IM) is named after the founder of the Ilter Clinic, Dr demir Ilter. The procedure was officially launched in May 2005, under the name FUE plus. Since then the process and technique has been refined even further. And today, FUE IM is the only microsurgical method practiced at the Ilter Clinic.

The Ilter Clinic – a world-leading clinic practicing FUE
The Ilter Clinic was the first clinic in Europe to begin practicing FUE. Since 2004, we have refined the method and are currently the only practice in the world working with instruments as small as 0.5 to 0.75mm in diameter.

We play a leading role in pushing this modern operation technique forward. Dr Ilter and his team at the Ilter Clinic regularly take part in international conferences and seminars. This helps us to stay at the cutting edge of our field and retain our leading position in FUE development. We therefore see it as a natural next step to expand our organization to offer training and education.
